Charles Wolford II

Executive Director

Charles joined Mission Central as our Executive Director in February 2018. He has more than 20 years of experience in both ministry and non-profit leadership. Prior to Mission Central, he served as the Associate Pastor of Outreach and the Executive Director of the Turn Around Agenda, the social outreach arm of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. In that role, he oversaw the organization's many programs including a public schools outreach program, a family care pregnancy center, human needs assistance, a technology and education institute, an athletic league, a summer camp, and a resale store.

Charles holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Sociology and Criminology from Wilberforce University and received his theological training from Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio. He is married to Diane, and they are proud parents of three adult children.

Treasure Ford

Program Assistant

Treasure began at Mission Central in July of 2017. She provides support to the Executive Director, Director of Volunteer and Community and Relations, and Director of Family Services.

Treasure recently graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with her Bachelor’s of Business Administration. She first came to Mission Central as a volunteer at the Village Pantry.

Sheila Haynes

Assistant Director of the Village Library

Sheila joined Mission Central in January 2014. As the Program Specialist at the Village Library, Sheila helps keep everyone organized! She greets tutors and students at the door each afternoon, making sure they have the materials and information they need for a successful tutoring session.

Sheila is a retiree of American Airlines, and was a volunteer tutor at the Village Library for 2 years before taking a staff position. Her educational background is in elementary education and art history, and she has volunteered with children in many capacities, including tutoring children at a pediatric hospital.

Catherine Hollis

Director of Volunteer and Community Relations

Catherine has been with Mission Central since July of 2012. She coordinates, trains and recruits volunteers for the organization, as well as providing communications support. She has a degree in public relations from Texas A&M University - Commerce, and has worked in non-profit management for more than 10 years.

Guy Housewright

Manager, Coat of Many Colors Resale Shop

Guy joined the staff at the Coat of Many Colors in December 2016 as the Donations Processing Coordinator. He became the Manager of the store in December 2017.

Guy has worked as a photographer and administrative assistant for a university, and has also been the Assistant Manager of a university bookstore.

Lola Nelson-Spay

Director of Student Enrichment

As Director of Student Enrichment, Lola oversees our afterschool tutoring program, matching volunteers and students, and providing educational materials to help the children succeed in school. She also works with teachers and counselors in students' schools to help ensure that we are providing assistance that is most relevant to the child's needs.

Lola is a retired educator, having taught students from Pre-K through 12th grade at different times in her career. She was most recently a guidance counselor at Hurst Junior High. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and a Master's degree from East Texas State University.

Diane Postell

Director of the Community Resource Center

Diane oversees the Family Opportunities Program, as well as the guest experience at the Community Resource Center and Village Pantry. Through the Family Opportunities Program, she works with families who are homeless or in danger of eviction, and helps them set goals and create a plan for moving toward self-sufficiency. She also works with the volunteers at the Village Pantry to ensure that we are sharing resources that can be helpful to all of our guests.

Diane joined Mission Central in March 2015, with more than 20 years of experience in social work. Her experience includes working with young adults who have aged out of foster care, workforce development, working with victims of domestic violence, vocational counseling, and working with families where child abuse and sexual abuse may be present. Diane holds a Bachelor's of Social Work from California State University and a Master's of School Counseling from the University of LaVerne.

Rachel Tshileu

Store Associate

Rachel was a volunteer at the Coat of Many Colors for over a year before she joined the staff as our Store Associate. She is a recent graduate of Birdville High School and is pursuing a career in nursing.

Connie Stamatelos

Assistant Manager of the Coat of Many Colors

Connie joined the Mission Central team in February 2018. She has a broad range of experience in customer service, administration, and hospitality. Connie grew up in Hurst and returned here in 2005 after living in both California and Pennsylvania. She loves art, writing, and her cat, Roo.
