Each year, members of the HEB Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class carry out a community service project. This year’s project was to build and deploy six Little Free Libraries at non-profits throughout the HEB community.

Mission Central was thrilled to be chosen as a library location. Artist Teal Suns of Central Arts Bedford designed and painted our “Community Cubby” which includes a picture of a family reading together as they are encompassed by their encouraging neighbors.

The library is located at our Community Resource Center at 740 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Anyone is encouraged to stop by and pick out a book or to leave a book they’ve already enjoyed. Books for both children and adults are welcome!
