Monday Mobile Food Pantry
First United Methodist Church of Hurst 521 West Pipeline Road, Hurst, TX, United StatesThis event will take place on the 4th Monday of every month. Guests may receive food between 4pm and 6pm. No ID is required. This will be a contactless event. If you are in need of food assistance please enter the church parking lot on Pipeline and stay in your car. You will be directed to line up in your car. Volunteers will load your groceries into your trunk. Please be sure your trunk is cleared out. OnlineThroughout the last 18 months, our Village Food Pantry has seen record numbers of guests coming in for groceries. The COVID-19 pandemic has hit our neighbors hard with business closures and layoffs. In July of this year, we served 33% more families than we did in the same month in 2020. With high gas prices and the rising cost of groceries, our Village Pantry has been seeing record numbers of our neighbors in need. Our goal is to raise $50K to continue serving at this level, but we don't just want to continue serving at this level. We want to do more. Our neighbors deserve more than just having their basic grocery needs met.
